Chapter 18: Academic & Financial MIS Reports
This chapter covers generating analytical reports, financial collection statements, academic performance summaries, and exporting data for statutory audits and management reviews.
1. Navigating the Reports Center
Navigate to Staff, Reports & Setup → Reports & MIS (index.php?page=reports).
The Reports Center groups institutional analytics into five specialized suites:
2. Financial & Revenue Reports
- Daily Cashier Collection Register: Itemized ledger of all fee transactions grouped by payment mode (Cash, UPI, Card, Cheque) and cashier name.
- Head-Wise Revenue Statement: Total income categorized by Tuition, Transport, Lab, Library, and Development fees.
- Defaulters & Outstanding Dues Report: Aging analysis of pending balances grouped by class, overdue days, and amounts.
- Concession & Scholarship Audit: Complete list of fee discounts granted with approving authority notes.
3. Academic & Examination Analytics
- Class-Wise Result Analysis: Pass percentages, average marks, grade distributions, and highest/lowest scores across subjects.
- Subject Distinction Roster: List of students scoring >90% or Grade A1 in individual subjects.
- Comparative Multi-Term Growth Report: Tracks individual student academic improvement over multiple examination terms.
4. Operational & Demographic MIS
- Student Strength & Demographic Report: Enrollment numbers categorized by Gender, Religion, Caste Category (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS), and Mother Tongue.
- Transport Capacity Utilization: Total commuters mapped vs. total bus seating capacity per route.
- Library Circulation & Inventory Valuation: Most borrowed titles, loss rates, and current shelf asset valuation.
5. Exporting & Printing
- Every report supports 1-Click Export to Excel / CSV for custom spreadsheet analysis.
- Print / PDF Export: Formats data into publication-ready A4 landscape or portrait documents complete with school branding, generation timestamps, and signature blocks.
