Chapter 6: Smart E-Prescriptions & 1-Click Rx Templates

Uttercode Healthcare ERP includes a specialized Smart E-Prescription Studio that allows doctors to draft complete, error-free digital prescriptions in under 90 seconds.

1. Prescribing Medicines

The prescription grid enables rapid formulation entry:

Medicine Search: Type either the Brand Name (e.g. Augmentin 625) or Generic Composition (e.g. Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid 625mg).
Form Factor: Select type (Tablet, Capsule, Syrup, Injection, Inhaler, Eye Drops, Ointment).
Dosage & Frequency:

- 1-0-1: Morning & Night - 1-1-1: Morning, Afternoon & Night - 1-0-0: Morning only - 0-0-1: Night only - SOS: As needed in emergency

Duration: Number of days (e.g. 5 Days, 10 Days, 1 Month).
Food Timing & Instructions: After Food, Before Food, With Warm Milk, Apply locally.

2. Using 1-Click Prescription Templates

To avoid typing the same set of standard medications repeatedly:

Click the Load Template button on the prescription desk.
Select from pre-configured institutional or doctor-personal templates:

The complete medicine list, dosages, and dietary advice populate instantly into the prescription grid.
The doctor can tweak any dose or add/remove medicines as needed for the individual patient.

3. Printing Branded E-Prescriptions

Once finalized, click Print Rx:

Format Options: Choose between Header Printed (Full A4 with Hospital Crest), Blank Letterhead Mode (Leaves space for pre-printed hospital stationary), or Thermal Compact Format.
Includes: Patient UHID barcode, Vitals Summary, Chief Complaints, Clinical Diagnosis, Tabular Rx with clear instructions, Lab investigations ordered, Follow-up date, and Doctor Digital Signature block.
