Chapter 1: Getting Started & System Navigation
This chapter covers initial access to Uttercode Healthcare ERP, system credentials, topbar controls, sidebar navigation, and user profile management.
1. System Access & Login
Access the hospital system through any standard modern web browser on your hospital local area network (LAN) or secure cloud domain:
- Open your browser and navigate to your hospital server URL (e.g.
http://hospital-server/shahu-maharaj-hospital/orhttps://hospital.yourdomain.com). - Enter your authorized Username / Employee ID and Password.
- Click Sign In.

2. Navigation Architecture & Layout
Once logged in, the interface is divided into three key functional areas:

- Universal Patient Search: Quickly lookup any patient across the hospital by typing their UHID number, Mobile Number, or Patient Name.
- Branch / Facility Switcher: For multi-campus healthcare groups, switch active hospital branch with one click.
- Notification Bell: Live alerts for emergency admissions, critical lab panic values, and low pharmacy stock.
- User Profile Menu: Access business profile, change password, and secure logout.
Left Sidebar Modules
The sidebar dynamically displays only the modules authorized for your user role. Main operational groups include:
- Core Clinical: Patient 360, OPD Management, IPD Inpatient Suite, Dynamic Certificates & Consents.
- Inventory & Supply Chain: Pharmacy Medicine Master, Stock Verification, Material Consumption, Branch Transfers, Purchase Orders & Quality Inspection (QI).
- Asset Management: Biomedical Machines & Infrastructure Maintenance.
- Financial Suite: Single-Window Billing, Advance Receipts, Daybook, General Ledger & GST Reports.
3. Managing Your User Profile & Password
To update your credentials or profile preferences:
- Click your name/avatar in the top right corner and select Business Profile / Account.
- Update your contact phone number, doctor qualification details, and digital signature stamp if authorized.
- To update your password, enter your current password followed by your new password twice.
- Click Save Changes.
